Created the look and branding of the Diamondback IO road race bike. Designed the logo, and carefully chose the color and graphics.
The IO looks like no other bike frame because of the "strategically shaped depressions called vortex generators built into the trailing edge of the truncated airfoils. These depressions set up mini areas of counter-rotating turbulent flow: The Wake Control System."
To highlight this leap forward in frame design, I masked the depressions and had them painted a hi-vis gloss orange (Diamondback's brand color), countering the sophisticated matte black frame.
